Why is it important to create and launch a yearly plan?
Making a plan of what to measure and when will help you structure your way of working in &frankly. It will give you a good overview, and make it easier for you to communicate the purpose and plan internally.
We recommend that you share your yearly plan internally to make sure that employees and managers know when to expect surveys from &frankly.
How do we create our yearly plan?
Create a yearly plan that suits your organization. We believe that measuring relevant questions and a frequency that suits your organization's needs will bring you better insights and more value. You can either use our pre-defined pulses in our pulse library or create your own questions and pulses.
Adjust the frequency based on your needs. A good idea is to have at least one pulse that you measure a few times during the year, to be able to detect and follow any possible changes that occur. Our recommendation is to measure Engagement (&Engagement Diagnose) and the eNPS question quarterly. It gives you the possibility to follow trends but also time to actively work with the results in between the measurements. With a recurring pulse that you send quarterly, you’ll also have time to send in-depth pulses to specific teams or the whole organization where needed.
Don’t forget to make time for the dialogue. The sooner you present and talk about the results, the more value. The more you emphasize the time plan, the more you can expect from the surveys, in regards to higher response rates and follow-up activities within the teams.
How do we support managers during the year?
Do you have overall responsibility for the organization and measuring engagement? Awesome! Remember to include and support the managers. You can for example communicate and share which responsibilities the managers have and what you have planned for the whole organization.
After your surveys, you can also support managers with low results or specific challenges. Use the Heatmap to see the results for all groups in one view. Reach out to managers and let them know that you are available or suggest activities and in-depth pulses that you think can suit them.
