The purpose of choosing a frequency is to ease the scheduling process. If you want to make sure that questions are asked regularly and that you continuously get relevant insights, this is a good function to use. Schedule the pulse for a longer period and questions will be sent accordingly to the selected setting.
You can only change the frequency for your self-made pulses. Our pre-made standard pulses already have a set frequency, the pulse pictured below can, for instance, be scheduled monthly, or manually for each week.
For your self-made pulses, there are 4 different frequencies to choose from: weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or bi-monthly.
When you schedule the pulse you can either decide to schedule the pulse for one week only or for a longer period. Follow the instructions for the two alternatives below.
Schedule the pulse over a period
First, select a group and add a pulse. Click on the week that you would like to start the pulse. When the dialogue for the scheduling details appears, change the dates under Repeated until in the section Period setting.
Under "First pulse" you select what week you would like the pulse to first be activated and under "Repeated until" you select the end date. Note that you have to start a pulse on a Monday and end it on a Sunday. What day and time the questions will be sent is determined by the time setting of each question.

Schedule single pulses
If you want to schedule your pulses one by one, simply pick the week(s) you want the questions to go out and save each week manually. This way you can pick and mix your own frequency, also when choosing &franklys standard pulses:
